In the run up the recent Super Bowl win the Patriots put in the Seattle Seahawks, news broke about the Soltice Grown Washington Marijuana Dispensary pulling off a publicity stunt by attempting to roll 12,000 joins in honor the 12th man fan persona in the Pacific Northeast.
The medical-marijuana retailer planned to use the joints for its so-called “12th Pack” promotion that includes a 12-pack of joints named after the “The 12th Man” as loyal Seahawks supporters are commonly known. However, some fans are now questioning whether that much quality weed in the Seattle atmosphere was part of the reason why the ‘Hawks had a brain cramp at the one yard line and inexplicably decided to throw the ball into tight goal line coverage in the middle of the Pats’ defense rather than handing the ball off and allowing “Beast Mode” running back Marshawn Lynch to run it in from a spot most sports fans considered a ‘gimmie’ for the best power back in the world.
Whether weed caused the poor play call or it was something else entirely that made it happen, there are a lot of pigskin fans in Washington who will be mellowing out in the months to come with the assistance of great weed from local dispensaries and recreational weed stores… but that doesn’t make partaking the right move for everyone in the area… especially guys who are supposed to be handling the play calling responsibilities for the team.
