iGrowBud – Weed App

The iGrowBud App is the newest invention from the high-minded team at GrowBCbud.com lead by Mr. Green and a tech-savvy set of cannabis growers. The app itself offers some simple, intuitive and important tools for anyone interested in growing their own marijuana legally. Best of all, you can get free support and lots of additional information by contacting Mr. Green via the @GrowBCBud Twitter account.

Lay of the Land:
i Grow Bud is an app with a clean interface. It isn’t cluttered with fancy graphics of infested with advertising, because it is intended to be a working tool in your greenhouse game plan. Every weed grower knows the vital importance of providing your plants with exactly what they need at the specific time when they need it. That can get tricky if you are growing many sticky buds on a plot full of plants that are each at different stages of development.

Smoking Hot Features:
The key feature of the iGrowBud App is the easy way it allows you to run multiple calendars within one interface. You can create a calendar for each plant, set milestones and alerts to remind you to feed, water, change the light source, harvest or take any other custom step in your growth plan with just a couple clicks. That’s essential to anyone turning the soil into a harvest worth having while keeping all the minutiae on your iPhone instead of having it nagging your mind all the time.

The App also includes some other features like a weed store finder for the Vancouver Bristish Columbia area, some puzzle games to help you pass the time and a notepad where you can jot down reminders for yourself that aren’t calendar specific tasks.

Free For All?
The iPhone version of iGrowBud will run you a whole 99 cents, so we can’t say it’s free for all, but honestly if the 99 cents is holding you back from grabbing this app we highly recommend lifting the center cushion on your couch. You will likely find much more change in there than this app costs and it’s not helping you grow weed the way owning this app would.

Cannabis Conclusions:
The number one cause of crop failure among weed growers is simply failing to supply your tall green friends with the right amount of sunlight, water, food and soil at the time when they need it most. It’s easy to do if you are only growing one small plant on a windowsill in a marigold tray, but it will take you years to grow enough good herb to roll a single joint that way. When you live somewhere that growing pot is legal, it makes a whole lot more sense to have a bunch of buds going at any given moment, and making sure you are keeping up with each of them is a whole lot easier if you let Mr. Green and the iGrowBud app give you a hand via your iPhone.

I had to get a second phone just to run the app on it. My main is a windows phone and it doesn't support it. That's my only issue with it tho. The app is great!
